Family Owned Since 1974
Welcome to Our Family Campground
For 52 years, the Works family has welcomed campers to the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. What began as a locally owned family campground has grown into a favorite destination for camping, cabins, water attractions, themed weekends, and family vacations.
For the past 38 years, the campground has proudly operated as Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ at Mill Run, combining the activities and characters families recognize from the Jellystone Park™ brand with the personal attention of an independently owned and operated campground.
Today, Jellystone Park™ Mill Run remains owned and operated by the Works family. Although we are part of the nationally recognized Jellystone Park™ franchise, the decisions that shape the park are still made right here in Mill Run.

Five Decades of Memories
52 Years
in Business
For more than five decades, families have gathered here around campfires, celebrated birthdays and holidays, taught children how to fish, and made camping part of their family traditions.
Some of today’s guests first visited Jellystone Park™ Mill Run as children. They now return with their own children and grandchildren to continue the memories they began years ago.
Few things mean more to us than watching generations of the same family return to the campground season after season.
Part of the Jellystone Park™ Family
38 Years as a Jellystone Park™
Becoming a Jellystone Park™ brought Yogi Bear™, Boo Boo™, Cindy Bear™, Ranger Smith™, themed weekends, and even more family fun to Mill Run.
The brand has grown over the years, but the heart of this campground has not changed. Guests still receive the personal service and genuine hospitality that come from staying at a family-owned park.
We are proud to offer the fun of a Jellystone Park™ while preserving the local character that makes Mill Run special.
A Jellystone Park™ With Local Heart
Being independently owned and operated matters to us.
It means the people caring for the campground understand its history. It means improvements are made with our guests and community in mind. It means feedback is heard by people who are directly involved in the park rather than passed along to a distant corporate office.
Over the years, the Works family and the Mill Run team have continued to improve the campground, expand family activities, introduce new attractions, and create themed events that give guests another reason to return.
We know that a memorable family vacation requires more than campsites and amenities. It also requires people who care about the experience families have while they are here.
Traditions
Families gather at the end of the day to laugh, tell stories, and enjoy time together around the fire.
Fun
Character visits, themed activities, games, and celebrations bring an extra dose of Jellystone Park™ fun to every stay.
Adventures
Water attractions, outdoor recreation, and sunny days give families countless ways to play together.
Memories
Children who once camped here now return as parents and grandparents to share Mill Run with a new generation.
Where Family Traditions Begin
Camping has changed considerably since the Works family first began welcoming guests, but the reasons families come here have remained remarkably consistent.
They come to spend time together.
They come to put away the daily distractions, enjoy the outdoors, meet Yogi Bear™ and friends, splash in the water attractions, take part in themed activities, and gather around a campfire at the end of the day.
Some visits become annual traditions. Others become the stories families tell for years.
Whether you are introducing a child to camping for the first time or returning to a place your family has loved for decades, we are honored to be part of those memories.
