PURPOSE STATEMENT:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Entertains the customers through various activities.

  1. Provide friendly and professional customer service
  2. Lead and instruct activities in an organized safe environment
  3. Prepare for each activity well in advance
  4. Set up for activities on time, for each event and be completely ready 5 to 10 minutes prior to an event
  5. Clean up after each event
  6. Handle Bear costumes with extra care
  7. Maintain the bear costumes
  8. Fill out and turn in all paperwork. (Weather chart, attendance, inventory sheets, etc.)
  9. You are responsible for your money, count and give correct change out to customers
  10. Coordinate with office on scheduling of Birthday Parties, Group Tours, etc.
  11. If another department needs to be involved in any scheduling, etc., make sure you have provided them with all the supplies and information they need to assist you
  12. Decorate for all theme weekends
  13. Take down the decorations and put back in attic neatly
  14. Keep activity area neat and organized at all times
  15. When you need more supplies, turn list in well in advance, don’t wait until the last minute
  16. Assist in other areas when needed
  17. Change activity boards twice a week
  18. Make sure the movie for the day is put with the projector at least an hour before movie time
  19. Clean and restock Yogi Bear’s Snack Bar

Maintains the RV Park’s rental, restroom, laundry room and game rooms cleanliness.

  1. Organize and keep organized the plumbing alley
  2. Able to work independently with minimal instruction
  3. Neatly clean and prepare rental units for new customers in a timely manner
  4. Keep rugs rotated and washed or power washed
  5. Wash rags and fold rags daily
  6. Neatly clean restrooms and porta johns
  7. Clean public laundry room and housekeeping laundry room
  8. Clean game room
  9. Keep cleaning carts stocked, organized and clean after each use
  10. Plug golf carts in when finished
  11. Provide friendly customer service in a professional manner
  12. Must wear uniform at all times.

  1. Responsible for opening the plumbing alley and laundry at 8:00am.  Turning out exterior lights for the day
  2. Water and Sewer meter readings daily at 8:00am
  3. Opens and cleans swimming pool by 9:00am
  4. Inspects all rides before each use and log the amount of riders each time
  5. Check and Clean Water Slides before 12:00pm
  6. Trash picked up twice a day at campsites and all garbage cans located throughout the park
  7. Get a check-in list daily from Reservations and clean up each campsite making sure the campsites and fire rings are clean and clear of all garbage
  8. Any time you are out in the park you need to be noting any problems that need attention and picking up any loose litter off the ground
  9. Report any rule/standard violation on individual sites to the Manager
  10. Perform exterior maintenance, if necessary.  Repair broken meters, water and sewer lines.  Performs all light plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work that does not require a licensed contrator
  11. Check and fill games in game room twice daily and empty ticket eater twice daily
  12. Answer any calls for rental repairs or customer assistance
  13. Escort all campers to their campsite and assist them in getting into their site (DO NOT PARK THEIR UNIT FOR THEM)
  14. Close Water Slides at 8:00pm, check slide attendants out and back wash pool
  15. Put Movie out 9:00pm and bring back in when finished
  16. Close Pool at 9:00pm (except Sunday and Thursday, 10:30pm) back wash pool and lockup
  17. Make sure exterior lights are on at dusk
  18. Check restrooms and porta johns throughout the day
  19. Lock plumbing alley, Game Room and Laundry when your shift is over at 11:00pm
  20. Mowing, weed eating and trimming bushes when needed
  21. Turn ride check list in daily
  22. Be at rides at least 5 minutes early and always leave at least 5 minutes late to accommodate late campers (only if you don’t have a full load)
  23. Any other duties that management deems necessary for the betterment of the park and customer satisfaction
  24. Wear uniform at all times

  9. Keep fryer oil clean and changed and strained daily to prolong life of oil
  10. Keep sinks clear and clean
  11. Make sure all equipment is set at correct temperature
  12. Fill and empty dishwasher
  13. Keep kitchen towels washed and folded
  14. Cash register drawers must balance
  15. Keep thermometers in all refrigerators
  16. Wear uniforms at all times

  1. Water Slide attendants one will be at the top and one will be at the bottom enforcing all rules.
  2. Top Water Slide person will be responsible for top of slides maintaining a safe environment and assisting the loading of customers safely on their mats and keeping a safe distance between riders.   Making sure all customers have correct arm bands.
  3. Bottom Water Slide Attendant will watch the landing pool keeping customers flowing out of the pool as soon as they land.  Keeping landing pool free of debris, taking chlorine levels hourly and documenting them in the Water Slide book.  Notify Maintenance if there is a problem with the levels.  Passing out golf clubs and balls.  Making sure all customers have correct arm bands.
  4. Slide booth must be kept neat and organized at all times.
  5. Any keys, reports and arm band cards are pool and slide attendants responsibility to pick up in the office at the beginning of their shifts and return at the end of business day.
  6. All attendants are responsible for keeping their area clean of litter and other debris.
  7. Water Slide attendants are responsible to walk the slides every time before they are put back in operation.
  8. Any time there is an incident / accident they must notify Mike or Tracy immediately, and fill out a report.
  9. Pool attendants are to watch over the pool and spray zone and maintain a safe and friendly environment.
  10. Pool attendants are required to take chlorine levels hourly and documenting them in the pool and spray zone.  Notify Maintenance if there is a problem with the levels.
  11. Pool area must be kept free and clear of garbage.
  12. Pump house must be kept neat and free and clear of debris.
  13. Lawn chairs, tables and umbrellas kept neat.
  14. Assist in snack bar when needed.
  15. Water Wars Attendants will be responsible for putting on and taking off the sling shots, filling balloons, picking up broken balloons, collecting money and documenting inventory (money bags must balance).
  16. Game room shift attendants must pickup the keys, animaland money bag and redemption inventory sheets.  They will be responsible for keeping track of the prizes they are handing out and turning everything back in at the end of their shifts.  All prizes and inventory sheets must balance.
  17. Keep redemption booth stocked neatly and organized.  No garbage left at the end of the shift.  Only one employee in booth during a shift.
  18. Assist in other areas when needed.
  19. Wear uniform at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience is helpful.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, activity schedules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with all types of customers in a professional manner.
